What is the key to achieving consistently strong performance over time?

We believe that managing risk is critical to achieving superior long-term investment performance, but we also believe that the conventional wisdom about needing complicated asset allocation strategies to accomplish this objective is simply wrong. Our approach to delivering consistently strong returns is to keep our clients fully-invested in a well diversified portfolio of equities throughout bull markets, only infrequently switching to a more defensive posture when our analysis points to the high likelihood of a bear market.
